Yesterday I accompanied my friend bought separately Laptop / Notebook Compaq CQ 510. Because my friend did not know how to install the drivers compaq CQ 510 so I installed it. Actually not difficult to install the driver.

Well for those who are still confused how to install the driver compaq cq 510, please follow the steps below:
1. Please install your notebook with Windows XP (I’m using Windows XP SP2)

9. Download ES Updates for Windows XP (SP43350) here and install
10. Best Keyboard, Mouse, Input Devices Drivers:

HP Quick Launch Buttons (SP44135) here and install

11. Download Intel Matrix Storage Manager (SP42162) here and install
12. Download Modem Driver (HP540 use Modem Driver) here and install
13. Done.

How to Fix a Laptop That You Spilt Coffee On

So you’ve spilt a liquid on your laptop? Here is a simple guide to fix your computer from its dip in the lake.

Steps
1. Turn off your computer immediately.
2. Place a dry cloth on top of your laptop and pat it dry carefully.
3. Take your computer and put it on a study table on top of a towel.
4. Put a fan on high and point it directly at the keyboard.
5. Wait for a few hours for it to dry out.
6. When dry attempt to boot up your computer.

Tips
• If the computer cannot be turned on or there are other problems, contact a Customer Service Representative from the company where you bought your computer from. There is a chance that the warranty on it will cover spills.

Step by Step How to Clean a Laptop

Are the keys on your laptop starting to stick? Is your new laptop starting to look like something you found in the trash? Here are some steps that you can take to clean it up yourself.

Steps
1. Get the right cleaning supplies for your laptop. For the screen you should use a special screen cleaner. For the rest of the laptop, all you should need is a bowl, some soap (if you wish to clean your laptop with the keys removed), a can of compressed air, and some isopropyl alcohol.
2. Turn off the laptop and remove the battery. Don’t risk shocking yourself or ruining your machine during the cleaning process.
3. Remove the mouse, any discs or CDs, USB keys and anything else that is connected or protruding from your laptop. They will only get in the way.
4. If you want to clean the laptop with the keys still attached you will need to use the can of compressed air. Do not hold the can upside down; simply tilt it and spray. If you are having trouble spraying you can always tilt your laptop, just try not to damage it in the process. Continue spraying until you have removed as much debris as you can.
5. If you want to clean the laptop without the keys connected, as well as the keys themselves, you will need to use a knife to remove them. Be careful when taking them out so that you do not damage the keys, the connectors, or yourself
- Before prying keys off, make sure you understand how to replace them. Some laptop keys are harder to reassemble than others. If you’re not sure, try popping off one key and replacing it before you pop them all off.
6. Fill up a bowl with water and a few drops of regular dish soap. Place the keys from the keyboard inside of the bowl and let them sit for as long as necessary to loosen the gunk. You may need to scrub the keys lightly by hand to finish the job.
7. Fill another bowl with half lukewarm water and the other half isopropyl alcohol. Dip a lint-free cloth in the new cleaning solution. Wring out the cloth to avoid dripping water. Wipe clean the inside of the keyboard, as well as the sides and the other faces of your laptop.
8. Clean out the ports along the sides of the laptop. Use the compressed air again (remember to keep the can upright). Spray all of the connector ports until they are nice and clean.
9. Leave your laptop out so that it can dry thoroughly. Do not shut the lid. If you removed the keys from your keyboard, you can set them out on the counter or table or wipe them with a dry cloth.
10. Pop your keyboard keys back on when you’re sure that your machine and the keys are both fully dry.
11. Use a special screen cleaning solution to clean your screen. Spray some onto your screen and gently wipe it off with a clean cloth. Do this last, so that your screen is free of any debris you generated cleaning the rest of the laptop. Do not use normal soap, as it can damage your screen or decrease it’s performance.

Tips
• Keep water and food away from your laptop.
• Make sure to wash your hands before using your laptop keyboard.
• If you remove the keys from the keyboard, make sure you know where they go afterwards. Use another keyboard as a guide, or print off a key map from the internet.
• Never plug in and turn on your machine until you are certain that is completely dry.
• Be aware that a can of compressed air does not simply contain air but contains a toxic chemical. Use it in a well-ventilated area and don’t inhale the contents.
