How to Protect File From Copy-Paste, From Computer to Flashdisk (USB)
This way usually use at school or campus. The aim is to make students can not copy and paste the file from computer in school to doing his task. So, students can do his task itself and not copy and paste from friend’s task. Yep, you can also use this trick to securing your file from stolen.
The step to protect your computer from copy paste are:
1. Entering Registry. By: Click Start >> RUN >> type regedit >> OK
2. Click HKEY_LOCALMACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control
3. Right-click on the Control folder, then click Edit >> New >> Key Name the new key with “StorageDevicePolicies” (without ” sign)
4. Right-click on the folder “StorageDevicePolicies”, Click Edit >> New >> Dword Value
5. Change the name to “WriteProtect” (without the ” sign)
6. Double Click on “WriteProtect”, replace the Data Value to 1
7. Restart your Computer
