For notebook freak. I believe you know if Compaq notebook has been released newest series of CQ such as Compaq CQ-20 series, CQ-40, CQ-45 and CQ-60.
By the way there are problem with Compaq notebook series CQ-40. If you installing Windows XP, The audio may not work. The problem is come from BIOS. To make sound work well we have to downgrade to version of F.11E.

Now, the latest version of the compaq notebook is CQ series. Such as CQ20, CQ 40, CQ45, CQ50 and CQ60. Almost all of new released notebook has been use SATA harddisk which Windows XP can not read SATA hard disk. so if you want to installing windows xp in sata hard disk. You can inactive SATA MODE in your notebook. But, some notebook have no setup for SATA MODE. So we have to use the Windows VISTA.

After switching off the aa1, when trying to turn it on again, it just shows blinking leds and the fan is turning. But the screen remains black.
If your aa1 does like this probably its BIOS has been damaged…

I have a big problem. My notebook/laptop cannot detect my dvd or cd drive. Its not the power supply because when I press the open button the drive opens. My notebook/laptop screen appears without any DVD or cd drive icon. Do I have to install driver or something else.
